New In

I've become more and more interested in experimenting with different beauty products, especially ones that are all natural. So after some research...okay, maybe a lot of research. And since I am on a low budget (recent grad here), I'm not trying to spend an arm and a leg for something that I won't like! So without a further ado, these are some of the new additions to my beauty cabinet.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist: The Herbivore products are all natural, non-toxic, and cruelty-free. This rose face mist is light, refreshing, and smells great. It helps keep my sensitive/rosacea skin calm. The packaging is beautiful, and it even comes in a glass bottle.

Herbivore Lapis Facial Oil: "This oil holds a component called Azulene which is deep blue in color and acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial that aids in reducing redness and clarifying the complexion." I've read many positive reviews about this product, so I thought I would give it a try. Ever since I started college I've had problems with breakouts and redness so I'm hoping it does what it says it will! In a month or so I will let you guys know my thoughts on the oil once I have used it for a while. But so far, it hasn't left my face oily like other oils I have used.

OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray: This is the famous new hair product line from the Kardashian hairstylist. Since I just chopped off most of my hair, I thought it would be appropriate to get some new hair products. First, they describe this product as a cross between hair spray and dry shampoo that helps you achieve that, "model-off-duty hair" which personally, I love. Second, the smell is great! I read a lot of reviews on this product and many people thought the smell was too strong. Yes, it does have a strong scent, but it dissipates after a while. Overall, it's a great product!

Sumptuous Estee Lauder Mascara: I have a condition called ocular rosacea which is inflammation that causes redness and itchiness in my eyes. I've been using this mascara for a couple of years now, and it is my favorite. It doesn't bother my eyes or make them itchy which a lot of products do.
